Bingo!. At the end of the day I want to game. Not share, not have my heart rate moitored, not make a new PacMan, not wave my arms and ask my TV to turn on, I want to grab a controller and play quality, long running fun games.

Ubi has a chance to redeem themselves for that abortion of a game: Conviction IF they make spy vs mercs just like chaos theory. That is the only reason I'd buy this game.

I was holding out and ended up getting one in June for my bday. I gotta say I would have bought it knowing what I know now. Its a great system. Sure there isn't a ton of games this second but the Mario etc is lots of fun and good games coming out this fall. The real selling point is the gamepad. Holy smokes its sweet. Remember its also a tablet. So I can lay in bed and surf the net while watching TV. I can then hit a button and game on it. Or hit the button again and boom its on my plasma...
I see it as them selling a car that has the car drive itself. Rather than turn the radio yourself you have to ask the car to do it. I've got my own issues with ms but there are games they will have that I'd like to play. I don't care about a price drop, I don't even care if kinect comes bundled with every system...just don't make it a requirement for me to have it on to play a sp game.

Well for me I have a personal dislike towards companies who have given me poor service. I used to love MS but I had issues with the 360 and received pretty piss poor customer service. Now I speak from my experience and am not generalizing them that everybody receives the same poor service. But after much todo with a red ring and shipping issues and having to have some kid be condescending when I call to unlink my credit card info from a broken system just makes me not want to do business with...

Man I say that all the time to the whiners. I was a Sony fan in 2008 on this site and went through 3 accounts due to literal death threats and down to one bubble in minutes for saying I liked Resistance Fall of Man.

People need to remember that the ps4 games that have been shown were created on specs the devs thought they would have in the final build. The RAM is doubled what they expected. I have high hopes for 2014 ps4 1st party exclusives.

I'm not sure why people find this a big deal. I don't go back and ever play Asteroids or PacMAN on the original Atari. I don't even remember the last ps2 game I played. I've played the crap out of my ps3 games and plan on embracing ps4 with both hands. Besides, plus offers me free games and I am sure Sony will continue that tradition. If you want to play your ps3 games in 2017 then keep your ps3.
